QA Automation

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA Tester with 2 to 4 years of experience in software development testing, including a strong background in automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through testing and effective problem-solving. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks. Ensure automation testing is integrated into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Perform manual testing when necessary to identify defects and ensure functionality, usability, and performance meet quality standards.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools. Collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Conduct regression testing to verify that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
• Test software applications across different platforms and environments to ensure compatibility and responsiveness.
• Work closely with developers, designers, and project managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on design and implementation.
• Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test results. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accurately recorded.
• Ensure that software deliverables meet quality standards and comply with organizational guidelines. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on QA processes.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in software testing and automation. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a strong emphasis on automation testing.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks. Basic understanding of programming languages such as Java, PHP, HTML, CSS, Python, or JavaScript.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Certifications: Professional certifications in software testing are a plus.
• Tools: Experience with version control systems, continuous integration tools, and bug tracking tools.
• Experience: Previous experience in automation testing, software development environment and working closely with development teams.
